Why did you join the SK, and did you choose the Blews specifically?: My sister met a really quiet guy called Mike,and she kept saying things like "Why don't you come fighting with us, you'll love it." Although no one's seen it yet, I have a temper problem, and was a bit nervous about being armed and dangerous on a battlefield, but Lyn persuaded me to be a follower, and it's the best of both worlds. I'm on the field with the battle raging, but no one really attacks me

What do you like about the regiment / Sealed Knot: There's nothing like being in a pike push that just starts to move in the right direction, and you think "yup, here we go..." Also, the fact that everyone accepts you for who you are. I went through a pretty tough time last year, and everyone was really supportive. I've made some very good friends who I love very much. Nothing will ever make me regret joining.

What you dislike about the regiment / Sealed Knot: Castle Howard comes up pretty high on my list! Breaking my knee in 3 places is something I'm not going to forget in a hurry. Bloody pre battle displays..

Advice for new / prospective members: Even if you don't have any camping kit, still come along because there's always people who'll share. It doesn't have to be expensive, it's a good laugh, and where else do you get to flash your cleavage/ogle ladies chests without getting a slap?
