Battles are Dangerous...

...but also fun and exciting and a little bit crazy.

Being on the field isn't just about being as accurate as possible, it's about having fun. Whether it's the adrenaline of the pike push and the sense of triumph at having beaten your opponents, the fun and comradery of the musketeers engaging in hand to hand combat with the enemy, the joy at your beating drums echoing off the buildings as you march or the pride of the officers as their teams do their stuff, re-enactment battles are fun, maybe hard work and definitely a little bit crazy. And after it all, we can go back to the campsite
